Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Canada held a forum to discuss the ‘Life of Holy Prophet’ (Peace and Blessings of Allah on him), at Woodbine Banquet Hall, on Monday December 15, 2008. The program was attended by close to 2,000 members of various communities around GTA, where scholars presented the various facets of the life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings of Allah be on him).
Mr. Lal Khan Malik, President of Ahmadiyya Community in Canada presented the purpose and short history of such conferences, in the traditons of the Ahmadiyya Community, to highlight the immaculate and beautiful character of the Holy Prophet and respond to the allegations leveled against him by the non-Muslims. Ahmadiyya Muslim Community has been convening such conferences world-wide trying to make the beautiful character of the Holy Prophet known to the world and dispel misunderstandings leveled against him.
Among the distinguished scholars was Imam of International Muslim Organization – Mr. Yousaf Chebli, a graduate in Hadith (sayings of life of Holy Prophet) from Al-Azhar University – Cairo, who spoke about the Holy Prophet as a Universal Leader. In the concluding address Maulana Naseem Mahdi, SVP and Missionary Incharge of the Ahmadiyya Community, presented some beautiful incidents from the life and traditions of the Holy Prophet about his treatment of love, affection, justice, and fair-play met out towards the Non-Muslims, including his worst enemies, living in those areas.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Community is a religious organization, international in its scope, an embodiment of the benevolnet message of Islam – peace. It firmly believs that the Holy Prophet Muhammad spent his entire life establishing peace and harmony in society. The community lives by the motto ‘Love for All – Hatred for None’.
